Payment Policies

Accepted methods of payment:

  • Credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover)
  • Check or money order
  • Cash on delivery

Credit card charges:
Your credit card will be charged when you place your order. If we are not able to fulfill your order for any reason, your credit card will be refunded.

Credit card verification:
An Achievement Resources employee may call you to collect or verify your credit card information over the phone.

Seminar and Workshop Policies

Please note: all seminars and workshops are 1:00 – 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise indicated and refreshments are provided.

Registration fees:
Payment is due and payable before start of seminar or workshop.

Acceptance policy:
Achievement Resources’ acceptance of your registration is subject to available seats, sufficient and timely payment, and a minimum number of registrations.

Confirmation:
You will receive confirmation within five working days of your registration via e-mail, mail, or telephone. If you have any questions or concerns about your registration, please contact us.

Cancellation and refund policies

Achievement Resources may cancel a seminar at any time, without notice, for any reason, and without liability to registrants except for a full refund of tendered payment.

We also understand that circumstances may arise requiring you to cancel. If you cancel up to 10 business days before the event, your full registration fee will be refunded. If your cancellation is 10 business days or less before the event, you may send another person in your place or receive a credit voucher for a seminar of equal value.

Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail to success@achievementresources.com or by phone (616-245-3710), attn: Renwick Brutus or Janet Hentges.

Any and all changes to your registration – transfer, reschedule, or cancellation – must be approved via e-mail by Achievement Resources. While we cannot guarantee a particular outcome we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Merchandise Return Policies

Unfortunately, we cannot cancel orders once payment has been processed.

All sales of tangible products, such as books and CDs, are final. In the event of receiving damaged or defective products, we will replace the defective product at no additional charge.

All sales of tangible products shipped outside of the domestic United States of America are considered international orders. All international sales are final and cannot be returned or refunded. Also, international orders may be subject to import duties, various taxes, and other charges which are the sole responsibility of the buyer and are not included in purchase price or shipping charges applied by our website. We take every reasonable step to minimize these charges for your convenience, but international import policies are out of our control. We are not responsible for any such charges.

All sales of intangible products or services, such as exam simulation subscriptions, e-content downloads and other online products are non-refundable once payment is processed and may not be refunded.

We are not responsible for personal internet access and individual internet browsers. To ensure that an intangible, online product or service is compatible with your computer and internet connection, first try free samples offered on our website.

Shipping Policies

Turnaround:
All orders are shipped within 48 hours Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

We use the following carriers to deliver our orders:

  • USPS
  • UPS
  • FedEx

Order Tracking:
If the shipping carrier provides a tracking number, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using First Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.

Shipping Rates:
Achievement Resources offers our customers the USPS, UPS and FedEx shipping rates we incur in filling all domestic orders placed on our website, with no minimum order, sizes, or special exceptions. We do not markup our rates.

Just because shipping is affordable doesn't mean it should take a long time. Achievement Resources understands that getting your items quickly is important to you, so we make every effort to process your order quickly. When you order from our website, you can expect to receive your order within 7 business days.

Back Orders:
If an item goes on back order, we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock and when the item becomes available, we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.

Privacy Policies

This policy covers how we use your personal information. We take your privacy SERIOUSLY and will take all measures to protect your personal information.

What Information Do We Collect?

We only collect information that we need that is related to your order. This includes your:
Billing address
Shipping address
Email address
Credit card information

In addition, we may also collect information on your IP address, browser type, and Refer URL data. We may use this data to prevent hacking attempts, help us know what web browsers people are using, and find out where our visitors are coming from so that we can improve our marketing.

How Is My Information Used?

Your information is only used to fill your order. We do not sell or redistribute your information to ANYONE.

Security and Storage:
Only your order billing, shipping, and order contents data is stored on our server. This information is encrypted using a Secure Sockets Layer before it is transmitted over a web server. We do not store your credit card data.

Cookies and Browser Information:
Cookies are small files that reside on your computer and allow us to recognize you on your next visit or store your shopping cart contents. We use them only to track this information.
